This site is a craft editorial journal. We do not run an online store, we do not collect checkout data, and we do not use advertising trackers. We keep things as clean as our sugar.
What we store
We use your browser's local storage for two quiet conveniences:
- Remembering that you dismissed the storage notice banner, so we do not show it again.
- Remembering your last selections in the Tasting Lab widgets (fruit pairing and texture guide) so your exploration feels continuous.
These keys stay on your device. We never transmit them to our servers, and we never tie them to your identity.
What we do not collect
We do not collect names, emails, or payment details through this site. If you email us at hello.sugarwhirl@gmail.com, we keep your message only to reply and for studio records.
Cookies & analytics
We set no third-party cookies. We use no cross-site analytics, no social pixels, and no embedded trackers. If we ever add simple, privacy-friendly analytics, we will update this notice and anonymize data.
Your choices
You can clear local storage in your browser settings at any time. You can also email us to ask what (very little) we have on file from direct correspondence.
